Privacy policy

BSB Racers is a kart game by Augusto Antunes Barros. This policy covers the iPhone and iPad app, the Android app, and the game on bsbracers.com.br.

Account, ads, and tracking

The game does not ask for an account, email, phone number, or real name. There are no ads and no advertising identifier. We do not sell data.

What stays on the device

Settings, language, records, time-trial ghosts, and the room nickname are stored on the device, or in the browser when you play on the site. They are not sent as a profile of you. Deleting the app's data or uninstalling it removes what exists only there.

Online rooms

If you join a room, the nickname you chose, your character, and the room code go to the room server on Cloudflare. The nickname is visible to the other people in that room. There is no account: the nickname belongs to the room, not to a profile of you.

Connection between players

An online race connects the devices with WebRTC. Your network address reaches the other people in the same room, because that is how the connection is made. When a direct connection cannot be completed, Cloudflare relays it through TURN. On iPhone and iPad, the system may ask for local network access for this connection.

Use and errors

The game may send a summary of the race to the server, with no cookie and no identifier of a person. That summary includes the track, the roster character, the mode, the weather, the graphics quality, the number of players, the cc class, the finishing position, the time, the network quality, and, if the game fails, the exception text. These events stay in Cloudflare’s Analytics Engine, on the room server. They cannot be used to recognize a person.

Photos

In photo mode, the picture goes to your gallery only if you choose to save it. On iPhone and iPad, the system asks for permission to add the photo. On Android, it goes to the Pictures/BSB Racers folder. The picture is not sent to us.

Pix

A Pix contribution is a code built on the device. The payment happens at your bank. The game does not receive who paid or any account details.

Stores

Apple and Google may receive crash diagnostics under their own policies. The Android package includes native symbols so Play Console can show those crashes. That diagnostic data belongs to the stores, not to an account of ours.

Children

We do not ask for age. The room nickname is chosen by the person playing and is shown only in that room. We do not build a profile of a child.

How long it stays

What is on the device remains until you delete it or uninstall the game. The nickname stays with the room on Cloudflare. Usage lines stay in Cloudflare’s Analytics Engine, without identifying a person. Photos and payments do not stay with us.

Your requests

To ask for access, correction, or deletion of something we hold, write to augustobarroscw@gmail.com. There is no account to look up. What exists only on the device is removed when you uninstall the game or clear its data.
